Intensive Inpatient Treatment Program
Addiction has many physical, emotional, and mental side effects. Once a person goes through detox, they can now begin to focus on learning how they can maintain their sobriety in the long term. At Evoke Wellness at Hilliard, we provide many addiction treatment programs, including intensive inpatient treatment. An intensive inpatient treatment program is intended for patients that require concentrated supervision and in-depth support. Intensive inpatient offers collaborative care to treat patients who have suffered from significant addiction issues for most of their lives.
The program is designed for individuals with substance use disorder or who require therapy for psychiatric disorders and patients that struggle with both. It is not uncommon for someone struggling with addiction to struggle with their mental health.
What to Expect from Our Intensive Inpatient Treatment Program
During our intensive inpatient treatment program in Columbus, OH, each patient meets with a therapist, drug addiction specialist, and psychiatrist. Each client has an individualized treatment plan that can be modified to meet their specific needs. We take a holistic approach to healing that balances our patients’ routines with engaging recovery-focused programs and therapies. Patients are not allowed to leave the center unattended and should expect to stay in the program for at least 30 days. A patient can remain in our intensive inpatient treatment program for a 60 or 90-day period and then join a different addiction treatment program to continue their recovery.
It is important to note that an intensive inpatient treatment program is not a dual diagnosis treatment program. Dual diagnosis treatment is when a patient struggles with addiction and a co-occurring mental health illness like anxiety, depression, ADHD, or OCD. Intensive inpatient involves therapies that focus on improving a patient’s mental and emotional health that has deteriorated as a result of long-term addiction.
